1) How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 2007. Regardless of whether
if you are a small business, medium-sized or large restaurant/takeaway.

3) How long does it take for
my account to be set up after signing up?
Your account will be set up immediately after sign up.
Should you not receive an initial email from us immediately
after you sign up, please contact us.
4) Do you place advertisements
on customer websites?
We do not advertise on our customers' websites.
5) Is the data centre
completely owned by you or do you co-locate?
The data centre is fully owned by us, and we do not
colocate.
6) What is meant by 100% web-based?
Web-based means that you can access your account 24/7
(24 hours, 7 days a week) from anywhere in the world
where you have an Internet-connected PC.
7) I already have a website
but I’m interested in using your services - can
I do that?
Yes, you can. You simply need to sign up for your free
30-day trial account, and if you like our services,
you can then make your account live. In terms of using
a domain, you could either get a new domain or use a
sub-domain from us (this would depend on whether you
would like to keep your existing website). If you don’t
want to keep your existing website, simply change the
name server details in your domain settings.

9) Can I buy a domain name
from you, or is it free?
Unfortunately, we don’t sell domain names separately.
Domain-name registration is absolutely free with every
package.
10) Do you provide hosting,
or is it included?
Yes. We do provide hosting, and it is included with and assigned to every package.
11) Can I sell the domain
to somebody else?
Yes you can. It's yours to do with as you please. If
you wish to transfer your domain away from us, please
contact us – there are usually extra charges to
transfer your domain.
12) How can I change the name
servers for my domain name?
When you obtain your domains from Webmama, by default
you will be assigned the following Domain Name Server
(DNS):
NS3.WEBMAMA.CO.UK and NS4.WEBMAMA.CO.UK
We do not offer you the option to change the DNS when you
obtain your domains from Webmama.
If your domain is registered elsewhere (and not with
Webmama), you will need to contact your provider for
information on how to modify any details relating to
it, and you will need to use the above DNS.
Please allow 24–48 hours for the DNS to propagate
when you change the DNS settings.
13) How long will it take
for my new domain name to become active?
Domains are registered as soon as you place an order.
However, it can take between 12 and 48 hours for them
to become visible on the Internet, i.e. to propagate
with our Domain Name Server (DNS).
14) How much web-hosting space
do you provide, and if I need more, can I buy it from
you?
We provide up to 250MB web-hosting space. The web-hosting
space we provide is more than enough, so we’re
confident you won’t ever need any more.
15) How much bandwidth do you provide?
Bandwidth is allocated according to the relevant hosting plan, but currently it is unlimited.
16) What are emails, and how
many email accounts will I get and how would I set them
up?
An electronic mailing system is known as email. We provide
email accounts according to the package, and email accounts
can number up to 15 with each package.
17) I already have my own domain – can I use it or can I transfer the domain to you?
Yes, you can use your own domain – to do this, simply change the name server details.
At present, we don’t have a facility to accept domain-name transfers online, but this will be available in the future.
18) How do I create my own
website, and what do I need to know to do this?
It is a very simple process to create your own website
with our system; simply follow the steps you will be
directed to, and there is plenty of help available via
your client admin interface support centre.
19) What prior knowledge do
I need to create my own website?
You not need any programming or designing experience
– our system will do all that, and all you need
to create your own website is basic knowledge of Microsoft
Word, i.e. if you can type a letter, you can create
your own website.
20) How long will it take
for me to build my own website?
We estimate it will take no more than a few hours, but
it should not take more than 5–10 minutes to set
it up at the basic level. But if you are not an advanced
user, it may take a little longer.
21) What is a WYSIWYG HTML editor, and when would I use it?
WYSIWYG stands for "what you see is what you get" and is a type of HTML editor, i.e. it is simply a Microsoft Word look-a-like editor, and you can use this to update/write content on your web pages.

22) What are templates?
A ready-made web design is called a template. These
are customisable with the minimum of effort using our
automated system.
23) How many templates do
you currently have?
We are very proud to say that at the moment we have
over 2,500 high-quality templates associated with over
125 personal and business categories to choose from.
We are constantly adding more templates in our database
on a regular basis.
24) Can I use any template
and are they changeable?
You can use any template you like from our database,
and you are allowed to change them as often as you like
… absolutely free.
25) How do I create my own
template?
In addition to the 2,500 ready-made templates that we
have in our database, we also offer a Make My Own Template
wizard, through which you can design/customise your
website the way you want, such as uploading your own
image, changing colours and selecting different types
of layout.
26) How long it will take
to create my own template?
Creating your own template should not take more than
a few minutes, including images, colours, layouts, etc.
27) Can I edit the template later?
Yes, you can edit and use your own template as often as you like.
28) Do you charge extra for
the Make My Own Template wizard?
No, we do not charge extra, but you are required to
buy the package that has this feature, currently all
the Plus packages include
this option.

29) How do I sign up to the trial account, and why do I need to sign up for a trial account?
It’s very simple. Just log into our website and click on the link to get your 30-day trial account and complete the trial registration form. Trial-account creation is very important because we’d like you to evaluate the whole system before you purchase.
30) Is the 30-day trial absolutely
FREE, and what happens if I don’t purchase your
service after my 30-day trial period?
Yes, it is absolutely free for 30 days. But once you
have evaluated our entire system, we are sure you will
choose the live account. But if for some reason you
are not fully satisfied with our products and services,
please let us know, and we will try to sort out the
matter. After 30 days, your trial account will automatically
be transferred to the live account. To cancel your trial
account, you must tell us on time so that we can cancel
your account before the end of this 30-day period.
31) Can I directly register
for the services rather than through the trial account?
Yes, you can, but we would recommend you to try our
services before you buy, and therefore we encourage
our customers to sign up for a FREE 30-day trial account
to evaluate the entire system.
32) Why do I need to provide
you with the credit card details for the Trial Account?
You need to provide us with valid credit card details
as this is required for the FREE trial signup process.
33) How do I register for
the Trial Account?
The step-by-step process is available from your client
admin support centre section.
34) What will be charged and
when?
You will be charged according to the package you have
signed up for. We will charge your credit card after
30 days so you can continue without any disruptions
(i.e. account suspension/deletion); you will not be
charged on the day you sign up for your FREE trial account.
35) Is it safe to provide
my credit card details?
Yes, all your data is kept safe and secure at all times
in our secure and highly encrypted database. Our system
is fully secure through a VeriSign-installed SSL gateway
and a ScanAlert-installed hacker-safe program.
36) Will my details be shared
with any other 3rd party?
No, we do not share our customer details with any third
party; our privacy policy is certified by the TRUSTe
organisation. We may use your details to market our
own products and services to you from time to time.

37) How many products do you
have?
At the moment we have six types of products. Two each
for standard websites, e-commerce websites and search
engine traffic. We also offer template customisation
services.
38) How much do they cost?
Our standard website package starts from GBP £49/year,
our e-commerce website package from GBP £99 and
our search engine traffic package from GBP £199

our product pricing pages.
39) If I buy the lowest package, can I upgrade it later, and what are the cost implications?
Yes, you can upgrade to a higher package at any time.
Costs are calculated on a pro-rata basis; a full cost analysis will be displayed at the time of upgrading.
40) When I upgrade to a new
package, can I still use the existing template?
All our templates are made to be used with all the packages
that we offer. In case of upgrade, you don’t even
need to change the existing template.
41) I am not sure how
to use the "which product" wizard - can you
please talk me through it?
Our "which product" wizard will help you to
decide which package would be the most suitable for
you. To use this service, simply go through the step-by-step
process, and our wizard will find the most suitable
package for you. You can then register for your 30-day
FREE trial to evaluate the entire system.
42) What is a template customisation
service? How much does it cost, and how does it work?
Template customisation is a service where we customise
your template with your restaurant images; you will
need to place an order from your client admin interface
through our online store. Simply select a customisation
option from the list, provide us with the necessary
details and make your payment.
Once we receive your details, we will begin customising
your website according to your requirements. We will
let you know once the work is done (usually 7 days),
and when you are fully happy with the work, we will
then upload it onto your server.

43) What sort of support do
you provide, and what is your after-sale service?
There are various forms of support available such as
telephone support Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm except
holidays, a mini help in every section, a comprehensive
help manual, step-by-step checklists – and a flash
video tutorial and remote PC access, which are coming
soon.
44) What is a step-by-step comprehensive manual, and when can I access it?
Our step-by-step help manual explains each and every section on our site together with relevant screenshots and detailed instructions, helping you to make the most of our system. It is located in your admin interface support centre.
45) Is your telephone support free, and when is it available?
Yes, telephone support is FREE, and it's available from
Monday to Friday 9am–5pm (excluding public holidays).
46) How secure and reliable is it to use your services?
Our services are 100% reliable, and your system will
be up and running 99.99% of the time. In terms of security,
we use the best service providers in the industry to
ensure that your business data is fully secure throughout
